A place to worship. A family to belong to. A community to serve.

St. Paul’s Tamil Church CNI, Sharjah is a welcoming Tamil-speaking Christian congregation of the Church of North India (CNI), Diocese of Bombay, established on 1 September 2007.

From our humble beginnings, God has graciously led us to grow into a loving fellowship of families, children, youth and adults from across the Northern Emirates.

At St. Paul’s, we seek to worship God, grow in His Word, build meaningful fellowship, and serve others in Christ’s love. Through our worship services, prayer meetings, children’s and youth ministries, fellowships, and outreach ministries, we strive to make every person feel valued, accepted and part of God’s family.

Whether you are new to the UAE, looking for a church family, or simply seeking a place to worship and grow in faith, you are warmly welcome at St. Paul’s Tamil Church.

Come and worship with us.

Come, grow with us. Come, be part of our church family.

Camp Ministry

The Camp Ministry began in 2007 as an outreach ministry and an extension of the ministry of St. Paul’s Tamil Church CNI, Sharjah. It was established to reach out to workers from the Indian subcontinent who live away from their families in labour camps and face challenging circumstances. The Good News of Jesus Christ was taken to workers living in camps around Saif Zone, Sonapur, Al Quoz and Jebel Ali.

Through the dedicated efforts of Revd P. Mathew Gnanasigamani and church members, the ministry reached out to workers in Jebel Ali in 2013, sharing the Good News of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ with those seeking peace, hope and spiritual strength.

Every Saturday evening, Bro. Henry Anthony and Bro. Justin Durai, along with the Priest-in-Charge, conduct worship and prayer meetings in various workers’ camps around Dubai, offering spiritual encouragement, prayer and fellowship.

Currently, brothers from DIP-1, DIP-2, Red and White Camp, and Parko gather for prayer every Saturday from 8:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The prayer meeting begins with singing worship songs, followed by a time of sharing and witnessing, and then intercessory prayer, particularly for those struggling with alcohol and drug addiction and those seeking freedom from spiritual bondage. Hindi and Urdu are the primary languages used during these prayer fellowships.

Prayer meetings are also conducted every Tuesday or Thursday from 9:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. in the HBSC Red Camp area, Jebel Ali, opposite Madina Mall. Brothers from the surrounding areas also participate in these prayer meetings.

During the Christmas season, the church hosts a special gathering for our brothers from the labour camps. Gifts and new clothes are distributed, followed by a love feast, expressing Christ’s love and the church’s care and concern for the community.
