Our Presbyters
God has faithfully guided St. Paul’s Tamil Church CNI, Sharjah through the dedicated ministry of its Priests-in-Charge. Each priest has contributed to the spiritual growth and development of the congregation through worship, pastoral care, prayer, fellowship and outreach.

In 2013, the church began a Hindi Service for our brothers living in the workers’ camps around Jebel Ali, under the leadership of Revd P. Mathew Gnanasigamani.
With a vision to reach people from different parts of India who were living and working in the UAE, this ministry provided an opportunity for them to worship God, hear His Word, pray together and experience Christian fellowship.

A significant development during Revd Roland’s ministry took place in 2013, when the Anglican Church graciously agreed to provide a Priest Visa for the CNI Sharjah Priest. The congregation remains deeply grateful to Revd Ernest Victor, Chaplain of the Anglican Church, for his gracious support and kind gesture, which helped strengthen the ministry and pastoral presence of the CNI congregation in Sharjah.
We are also deeply grateful to Revd Fr. Drew Wayne Schmotzer for his gracious support and continued encouragement towards the ministry of our congregation.
This period was an important milestone in the continuing journey of St. Paul’s Tamil Church CNI, Sharjah, strengthening the relationship and fellowship between the CNI and Anglican communities.
